Founded in 1987 with a true love for the culinary experience and great seafood, this journey began when founders Kathy and Rip Price started Opportunity Traders in a small fish truck driving up the coast of BC. Since then, the Price family has delivered the highest quality seafood products for over two generations to Canadian families. Northern Glacier Seafood remains a strong believer in doing what is right, not what is easy and by way of that embracing sustainable seafood practices aligning with Oceanwise, ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship), MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) and HACCP for all products offered.
Northern Glacier is built on long term relationships, best in class processing, and a commitment to deliver seafood that is as fresh as the day it was caught. With direct traceability and the highest processing standards, we vacuum pack our products to lock in freshness.
